Meet Our Team
Brit Crampsie
Principal
Hi! I’m Brit Crampsie. I’m a strategic communications professional, recently off of a stint as the Press Secretary for the PA Senate Democrats. During my tenure there, I led messaging for the caucus, did media training for its Senators, navigated very public crises, produced daily content for new and traditional media, and dozens of other duties that the high profile and fast paced job required. It was an exciting ride and it was a dream come true to work with so many members of the Senate as our caucus grew from 16 to 22 members – but now I've taken my talents to the private sector.
I’m not new to consulting, just returning to the practice as a business owner myself. I’ve worked with a few of the best strategic messaging shops in town (Harrisburg, that is) and am ready to partner with even more.
I’ve been honored to be included on a few lists for my work in communications, including PoliticsPA’s 30 Under 30, Central Penn Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and City & State PA’s 40 Under 40 on two occasions: 2016 and 2021.
Before I made the jump to public relations, you might have seen my byline at PoliticsPA.com where I was the Managing Editor under my maiden name – Brittany Foster, or covering local news for WFMZ 69 News in the Lehigh Valley.
I’m a proud Mountain Hawk with two degrees from Lehigh University (B.A. and M.A.) in Political Science. I live in Carlisle with my husband and the World's Cutest Baby.
Now, you know me. I’d love to get to know you and learn how we can craft your winning message.

Originally from Mechanicsburg, PA, I recently earned my Scottish MA in Politics & International Relations from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
My communications journey has taken me from the Pennsylvania State Capitol to my international studies abroad. My previous work experience includes interning with Triad Strategies and the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Caucus.
In 2023, I joined Brit Crampsie Communications as an intern, learning directly from one of the industry’s best. Over two years, I managed social media for political clients, designed creative content, drafted press releases, tracked media coverage and more.
I’m thrilled that I now get to bring that experience full-time to Brit Crampsie Communications! With a unique mix of Pennsylvania grit and international insight, I approach every project with creative curiosity, a fresh outlook, and a positive attitude. I’m passionate about delivering results that make an impact.
When I’m not working in communications, you can probably find me on stage—I’m also a singer and love performing with my band across Pennsylvania!

I'm a mom of two crazy boys and I have more than 13 years of experience being a jack of all trades in the communications world, both in Pennsylvania and beyond.
As a central PA native, I grew up in Mechanicsburg and attended Trinity High School. After earning my communications degree from Millersville University, I got my first job in journalism as a TV reporter and anchor – a dream come true. Over the next seven years, I worked for several news stations, spanning northeastern Pennsylvania down to Virginia where I covered breaking news, politics, crime, feature stories and everything in between! I was honored when one of my stories was nominated for an Emmy award.
In 2021, I decided to broaden my skills beyond TV news, working as Press Secretary for the Pennsylvania Treasury Department and then Media Development Specialist for the PA Senate – a position that was created for me to share what I learned in my years of being a broadcast journalist to those working inside our state’s Capitol.
I just wrapped up six years serving as a board member for the non-profit organization, Breakthrough T1D, whose mission is to fund research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. It is a cause that is near and dear to my heart after being personally diagnosed at 13-years-old. I had the privilege of combining my writing skills with my passion for Type 1 diabetes to report on a series focused on the disease, which won most Outstanding Television Feature Series by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
When I’m not spending my time cleaning up after two small children and my dog, I enjoy watching true crime documentaries, completing puzzles, and taking long walks outside with my husband, Matt.
